At the Worldwide Fistula Fund, we believe that sustainable change begins with local leadership. That’s why we’re thrilled to introduce our newest initiative: WFFs Program Partners Network — a collaborative platform uniting in-country experts who are transforming the landscape of fistula care.
What Is the Program Partners Network?
The Program Partners Network brings together leaders from Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Kenya, Niger, and Uganda who are already making a profound impact in their communities. Through regular knowledge exchange, shared innovations, and peer-driven capacity building, the Network will empower these leaders to strengthen their programs and amplify their impact. It’s a space for learning, collaboration, and solidarity.
Why It Matters
Obstetric fistula is a devastating childbirth injury that isolates women and undermines their health and dignity. But with the right care — and the right people leading the way — healing and prevention is possible. The Program Partners Network is designed to accelerate progress toward a fistula-free future by reinforcing WFF’s commitment to community-led, sustainable solutions. By sharing best practices, these leaders can continue to build capacity, strengthen their programs and their professional networks at the same time.
WFF will provide the space, resources necessary and hopefully in the future, travel funds, for these leaders to collaborate in person in addition to virtually. WFF Board and volunteers will be available to offer any trainings focused on a wide variety of subjects to improve and grow their organizations, and to enhance their care models.
